The School of the Art Institute of Chicago presents its 77th annual fashion show, which we are extremely happy to be apart of, Fashion 2011, on Thursday, May 5, 2011. SAIC FASHION 2011, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s annual fashion show will take place Thursday, May 5th. Sixty models from Factor Runway will wear designs down a 90-foot runway inside a 15,000-square-foot tent on Chase Promenade, a three-block walkway lined by nearly 200 trees centrally located in Millennium Park.

Fashion 2011 will be presented 3 times on that day. According to the some sources, it is said that Aveda will lend its hairstyling expertise, and make-up will be provided by Artists by Timothy Priano. By featuring more than 250 garments from SAIC’s Fashion Design BFA candidates showcased by 60 professional models from Factor Runway will be the largest ever in the show’s 77-year history.
It is said that More than 3,000 guests are expected to attend the four-show, daylong event in Millennium Park—so are you joining in these 3,000 guests? SAIC’s Fashion Design program is uniquely situated within the diverse structure of an arts school.
